The University of San Agustin invites interested parties to invest in the establishment of a Medical Complex in Barangay Sambag, Jaro, Iloilo City.

Scale and Content:
The proposed Medical Complex will have a 300-bed hospital, doctor’s clinics, laboratories, a pharmacy, and other medical facilities. It will provide a wide range of medical services to residents of Iloilo City and the neighboring towns.
Preferred modality: Open Investment
According to the Department of Health, Western Visayas (Region VI) has not met the standard set by the World Health Organization (WHO) for the ratio of the hospital beds to patients of 1:800. At present, the region has a hospital bed to patient ratio of 1:2000. There is continuing demand for quality health care not only from the people of Iloilo City but also from other areas in the province and Region VI.
The Iloilo City Government has identified health care and wellness service among its priorities as it strives to become a premier city by 2015. The City Government of Iloilo is providing various assistance to investors, such as:
- Grant of investment incentives as contained in the Local Investment and Incentives Code;
- Facilitation of business permits and licenses from City Hall;
- Facilitation of access to financial and technical assistance program of the government;
- Facilitation of service connections with local utilities; and
Provision of other services as may recommended by the Investment incentives Board
